Tournament Planner

Plan a tournament or league, share an easy-to-follow schedule, and record results as you play.

Enter one team per line. For separate groups, turn on Use divisions below. List strongest seeds first, or choose shuffle.

Teams that should not play each other (optional)

Choose pairs to omit from league or round-robin games. This removes every scheduled meeting for each pair. Teams may finish with different numbers of games played; agree your standings and tie-break rules.

Single-elimination brackets cannot guarantee these exclusions. For a round-robin tournament, turn off Include playoffs if the selected teams could meet in its playoff bracket. Recreating a schedule resets recorded results.

Elimination divisions send their winners to an overall championship bracket. A single elimination division already ends with its own final. Playoff games are included in the dates and court schedule.

One per line, matching the number of courts. Leave blank to use Court 1, Court 2, etc.

Optional. Weeks run Monday through Sunday. Spread league, tournament and playoff games across weeks when possible. Locked matchups stay fixed. Limited dates, gym times or playoff paths may still require more than two games in a week.

Allow multiple games on the same day, but try to place another game or a full time block between a team’s games. If space is limited, consecutive games may still be needed.

Optional. Prefer different dates for a team’s games. Limited dates or playoffs may still require multiple games on one day.

Tournament days

Add each playing date with its own start and finish time. Dates you leave out have no games. Check Prefer this day on one or more dates to concentrate games there; other listed dates remain available when needed.

When teams cannot play (optional)

Select one or more teams and enter the date and the unavailable start and finish times. Add another entry for a different period. Games in the same time block may move together.

Cleaning / maintenance break (optional)

All courts pause. Games that would overlap the break move to after it. Leave date and time blank for no break.

One per line: YYYY-MM-DD | start time (24-hour) | minutes. These can be lunch, cleaning or assembly breaks.

Games use only the dates you list, within each day’s start and finish times. Divisions share the courts; each round finishes before the next starts. Increase the gap for changeovers and rest.

Creating another tournament replaces the current results.
